DAY 1: Casablanca
Salam Alaykoum! Welcome to Morocco!
Upon arrival at Casablanca airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for your first night in Morocco. The rest of the day is at your leisure before enjoying a warm welcome dinner with a local family.

DAY 2: Casablanca → Chefchaouen
After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the most ambitious projects of late King Hassan II, built with contributions from across the country. The King famously said, “I want to build this mosque on the water, because God’s throne is on the water.”
Drive towards the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen, stopping for lunch along the way in a local restaurant. En route, explore Rabat, the capital, and visit the Marble Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the striking Hassan Tower. Arrive in Chefchaouen in the late afternoon and enjoy dinner with your group.

DAY 3: Chefchaouen
Start your day at 9 a.m. with a guided walking tour of Chefchaouen, a city reimagined by Andalusian refugees during the Reconquista. Experience daily Moroccan life: visit a communal bakery, watch local women do their laundry, and climb to a former mosque for stunning panoramic views of the town. The rest of the day is free to explore at your leisure.

DAY 4: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
Depart Chefchaouen for Fes, stopping first at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Volubilis, a former Roman provincial capital. Explore its impressive ruins with a local guide. Continue to Meknes, where you’ll visit the old medina and enjoy a traditional camel burger at a local restaurant.
Drive to Fes for the next two nights and indulge in the city’s signature dish, the sweet and savory chicken pastilla.

DAY 5: Fes
Meet your local guide for a full-day tour of the Fes medina, a labyrinth of streets full of artisans, historic schools, and vibrant marketplaces. Discover Medersa el Attarine, the famous Fes tanneries, and Fondouk Nejjarine while passing the oldest university in the world, founded by Moroccan Muslim woman Fatima al-Fihria. Lunch features a traditional Moroccan meal, and the evening concludes with a local cultural show.

DAY 6: Fes → Ifrane → Azrou → Ziz Valley
Travel through spectacular landscapes of fertile valleys, cedar forests, and rocky terrains. Stop at Ifrane, nicknamed “Little Switzerland,” renowned for its clean streets and ski resorts. Continue to the Berber market town of Azrou, home to green cedar forests and macaque apes. Enjoy a picnic lunch before reaching Midelt and then Errachidia, the heart of the Ziz Valley and Morocco’s largest date-producing area.

DAY 7: Ziz Valley → Merzouga

DAY 8: Merzouga
